SHRM-Atlanta has long supported Veterans in the metro Atlanta community, and there are dozens of Veterans who are currently members of SHRM-Atlanta.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Readiness & Employment Service has asked SHRM-Atlanta to recruit businesses to participate in a career fair they are holding in Atlanta in June. The hybrid career fair will be open to all Veterans, Service members, and spouses and include a national virtual career fair along with simultaneous in-person events in four locations to include: Washington, DC, Atlanta, GA, Houston, TX, and Phoenix, AZ.
In Atlanta, the fair will be held at the Georgia Freight Depot on June 7. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Readiness & Employment Service is seeking businesses that would like to exhibit at the event at no cost. - There is NO COST for the event (no cost for employers or attendees)
- Please note there is parking available for a fee paid directly to the parking vendor

Following the event, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran Readiness & Employment Service will ask those companies participating to provide statistical data including number of applicants, number of interviewees, and number hired from the event.
